1. Platform Description
CueTrack is a skill-based cue sports management platform. We provide software for venues to manage tables, players, and tournaments, and for players to track their global Elo ratings and participate in skill-based competitions.
2. Skill-Based Competition Rules
All tournaments facilitated through CueTrack are Skill-Based Competitions. Outcomes are determined solely by player skill. CueTrack explicitly prohibits gambling, wagering, or illegal prize pool mechanics.
By using our platform to host tournaments, you agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring your events comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding skill-based competitions.
3. Prohibited Uses
You may not use CueTrack to facilitate, promote, or engage in:
- Betting or wagering on match outcomes
- Pot-based prizes where player entry fees fund the prize pool directly (unless legally permitted in your jurisdiction for skill games)
- Rake or house-cut systems from player wagers
- Any form of illegal gaming or gambling
4. Venue Operator Obligations
Venue operators ("Clubs") are legally responsible for local compliance. CueTrack provides the software infrastructure but does not operate the physical venues or tournaments. Venue operators must ensure all players are of legal age and that the venue operates in accordance with local regulations.
5. Player Data & Privacy
Players control their visibility on the global leaderboard through their Privacy Settings. Players have the right to use an alias or keep their profile entirely private. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Club Logo License Grant
By uploading your club logo and joining CueTrack, you grant CueTrack a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display your club's name, logo, and city on global leaderboards, tournament broadcast pages, and platform promotional materials. This license remains active while your club is an active member of the CueTrack network.
7. Credit Wallet & B2B Terms
- Credits are deducted for specific platform actions (e.g., activating a player globally).
- Credits are non-refundable once used.
- Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for fiat currency.
- Unused credits expire after 24 months of account inactivity.
8. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved after 30 days, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CueTrack is headquartered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
